女装コーディネーター・立花奈央子の集大成。

最初期の作品から最新のプロジェクトまでを展示することで、

立花が女装文化に関わる中でどのように

性別と美への認識が変遷していったのかを

鑑賞者が追体験できるように構成。

女装とは、性別とは、美しさとは、そして幸せの形とは何か？

これらの普遍的な問いに、新しい刺激と気づきを与えます。

社会が決めた「性別はかくあるべき」なんて、しゃらくさい。

人は自由にありのままの自分を認め、謳歌できる。

PROGRESSION AND HAPPINESS THEORY of "Josou"

"Josou"(crossdressing, male to female) coordinator Naoko Tachibana has taken the last 6 years focusing on capturing the essence of "josou" on photos.

Tachibana will display everything from her early work, up to her latest projects in this individual exhibition. She has structured it so viewers can behold how her interest in the "josou" culture has gradually evolved and changed her point of view on gender and beauty.

What is "josou", sex, beauty, and furthermore the shape of happiness?

-These questions will lead you to new, exciting discoveries.

Tachibana thinks the boundaries that society has created for gender roles are old and overrated and that everyone should have the right to freely express themselves and be proud of who they are.

Tachibana is a "Josou" Cordinator, Photographer, Make-up Assistant and Representative Director at Opalus Co.,Ltd.

She runs "Diayodo Photo Studio" and is frequently featured in magazines and TV as a "josou" specialist.

Everything from teen idols to 70 year old men, she has photographed and specially "josou" educated of over 1000 males;

Determined to bring more awareness to the fixed (and flawed) concept of gender roles, Tachibana will continue to photograph "josou" motifs and create opportunities for everyone to find freedom and happiness.
